01
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them.
Cookies do not give us access to your device or any information other than what you choose to share with us.
02
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for LattiSpec to function and cannot be switched off. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, adding items to your enquiry list, or setting your privacy preferences.
Examples include: session authentication cookies, CSRF protection tokens, and shopping cart state.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest — necessary to provide the service you have requested.
03
Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with LattiSpec. All data collected is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify individual users from this data.
We use analytics to measure page views, traffic sources, time on site, and user journeys through the platform. This helps us identify and fix issues and improve the overall experience.
Provider: [e.g. Google Analytics, Plausible — confirm with your CMP setup]
Legal basis: Consent.
04
Functional Cookies
Functional cookies allow the platform to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, more personalised features. These may include:
- Your preferred language or region.
- Whether you have dismissed a notice or banner.
- Your saved search filters or display preferences.
Legal basis: Consent.
05
Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites in order to display relevant advertisements or measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
LattiSpec does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes, this notice will be updated and you will be asked for your consent before any marketing cookies are set.
Legal basis: Consent (not currently in use).
06
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on LattiSpec are set by third-party services we use, including:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe may set cookies necessary to handle secure payments.
- Analytics provider — [confirm provider name].
These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review. We do not control these cookies directly.
07
Managing & Disabling Cookies
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Preference Centre — use the button above to manage your choices at any time.
- Browser settings — most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. See your browser’s help documentation for instructions.
